Bexhill-on-Sea is a unique town and is proudly known as the birthplace of motor racing. The love for British motor racing started here by the seaside in 1902 and The Motoring Heritage Centre located in The Sackville Building, features historical information and photos on the original 1902 to 1904 races in Bexhill.
One of the best things about our location is that we are situated right next door to the De La Warr Pavilion. The Pavilion first opened to the public on the 12th December 1935 and now people from all over the world come to visit this spectacular Grade 1 listed building and an architectural icon which attracts over 350,000 visitors a year. The De La Warr Pavilion hosts live shows, concerts, plays, contemporary art exhibitions, local community events and many events and activities especially for children. The De La Warr café, bar and kitchen serves delicious high quality food and drink all day and the views inside and out are extraordinary.
Strolling around Bexhill you will find Egerton Park, a peaceful green space just five minutes’ walk from Bexhill Beach House. Bexhill Museum is located by the park too.
